Voluntary providers or those private services without the skill base provided by the 999 system may fall short when it really matters.
We will support existing sports medics so they can be confident that if emergency support is required an experienced and skilled team is at hand. We will work with sports medics to enhance their knowledge of the 'pre-hospital world' as inevitably sports medicine is limited in its emergency aspect. Just one of our paramedic staff often has the experience of 50-250 or more pre-hospital cardiac arrests under their belt. Experience that cannot be dismissed!

Special risks may present themselves to the organiser of an event depending on the size of a crowd, the event location, the makeup of a crowd, past history, activities taking place etc.
At an equestrian event severe chest, head and spinal injuries can occur. Boxing and martial arts competitors may sustain head injuries leading to unconsciousness. At motor sports high speed impact can cause internal injury. At music/pop events guests may engage in social drug use leading to life threatening collapse. The list goes on.
We will carry out a medical risk assessment to determine the best level of cover. We will complete a medical plan and liaise with the statutory NHS ambulance service to ensure 'joined up thinking'.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Currently (Feb 2020) event medical services are not required to be registered with the CQC to ensure standards of care and safety. We find this untenable and so we have been registered since 2012. Customers and patients must have confidence in the standards of those helping them in their hour of need!
